With this being another recent drop from Cannatique, and being a fan of Tropical Zkittlez, I was excited to be able to try this one out. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of an extremely sweet and exotic aroma consisting of primarily grapes, alongside rich and sharp blackcurrant notes infused with a variation of berries. This inviting sweetness had light candy and citrus undertones with a gentle gas lingering in the background. The buds were of a medium density, having a combined foxtail and boulder structure, being a shade of medium to light green with minimal purple hues, alongside rustic hydroponic hairs, and showered in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was instantly overcome by a rush of sweet grapes, infused faintly with blackcurrants and berries. This inviting sweetness quickly developed a gentle creamy candy gas, leaving balanced notes of Gelato and Cookies. Through combustion the taste started to transcend into a resinous gas, which began to dominate the sweetness ever so slightly. This combination of flavours described are left upon my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced fluffy ash being a shade of light silver, alongside an instantaneous oozing and leaking resinous oil ring, smoking both smooth and tasting clean. To conclude, although I would prefer the sweetness to overcome the gassiness marginally, this is a personal preference, and ultimately Tropical Zkittlez smoked pleasantly, being one of the better Cannatique drops I have had the pleasure of trying. With a little dialling in, TZ can be perfected and a strong staple in their lineup.
